Tow truck driver arrested after man shot at LMPD's impound lot
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say an argument between a tow truck driver and another man led to a shooting at the Louisville Metro Police Impound Lot on Frankfort Avenue.
According to an arrest report, a man showed up at the lot at 1487 Frankfort Avenue, near Brownsboro Road, just after 6 p.m. Thursday. He wanted to have his vehicle towed.
Police say the tow truck driver was 64-year-old Andrew Stovall, who demanded that the victim pay up-front before he would load the vehicle onto his truck.

The two began to argue, according to the arrest report. At one point, while the victim was sitting in his car, police say Stovall leaned in and grabbed his phone.
Police say Stovall fired several rounds at the man as he sat in his car, hitting him once.
According to Louisville Metro Police Department spokeswoman Alicia Smiley, the victim was taken to University Hospital, but his injuries weren't considered life-threatening.
Stovall was arrested and charged with first-degree assault. He is currently being held at Louisville Metro Corrections.
Smiley said neither Stovall nor the victim work for the city.
